IGNOU’s Higher Education Center-2299 in Nirman Campus providing opportunities to study along with job
Sunam udham Singh Wala 6 March (Rajinder Kumar Shah)After participating as a member of Academic Council in the 38th convocation of IGNOU New Delhi, a central university established by the Government of India, nationalist thinker and educationist Dr. Amit Kansal interacting with media said, more than 3 lakh 17 thousand students were awarded degrees and diplomas in this convocation. Education Minister in the Government of India Dr. Dharmendra Pradhan was the chief guest in the program and Vice Chancellor Dr. Uma Kanjilal presided over the program. Dr. Kansal said that it is a matter of pride for him too that as a member of the Academic Council in the world’s largest university IGNOU, he also got the opportunity to serve with the country’s top educationists.
Dr. Kansal giving details said that IGNOU University is providing higher education in every corner of the country through 69 regional centres and more than 2300 study centres and IGNOU Study Centre-2299 of this University established in Nirman Campus of Education, Research and Training is serving the rural and backward area, Sunam, the birthplace of Shaheed Udham Singh and a town of historical and religious importance by providing more than 100 higher education and skill development courses in accordance with contemporary global needs.
Giving more information, Dr. Kansal said that the one of the great features of IGNOU is that any person can get higher education along with his job and doing business. He said that IGNOU will also have an important role in the resolution given by the Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation by 2047 because about 4 million students have received education through IGNOU and in future, millions of more students will get the best programs of higher education in accordance with global and contemporary conditions from IGNOU. Due to this role of IGNOU, an educated India will definitely move towards a developed India.
